DESCRIPTION:Professional interpreters\, dedicated conference equipment and on-site technical support enabled multilingual engagement at Resource Justice Network’s Africa Conference. \nRivaton Translators successfully delivered English–French simultaneous interpretation and conference technology support for the Africa Conference 2026\, held on 19–20 October 2026 at Argyle Hotel in Nairobi\, Kenya. \nOrganised by Resource Justice Network\, with Transparency International Kenya as the host organisation\, the conference centred on the theme “The Power Within: Strengthening Our Collective Action for a Just Transition.” It provided a platform for African civil society representatives\, partners and stakeholders to exchange experiences\, strengthen collaboration and advance shared priorities in resource governance and justice. \nSupporting Dialogue Across Languages\nFor a conference focused on collective action across countries and regions\, language access was an essential part of participation. Delegates needed to follow substantive discussions\, share national experiences and engage with perspectives from different linguistic backgrounds. \nRivaton Translators supported this exchange through on-site simultaneous interpretation between English and French\, allowing delegates to follow interpreted contributions in real time while speakers continued in their chosen language. \nThe programme covered strategic planning\, coalition experiences\, emerging political and economic developments\, regional priorities and collective action. This setting called for attentive interpretation that conveyed both technical meaning and the intent behind each contribution. \nAn Integrated Interpreting and Equipment Solution\nOur two-day service combined professional language expertise with the equipment and technical personnel required to support delivery. \nBringing interpreters\, equipment and technical support together gave the client a coordinated service for its multilingual conference requirements. \nLanguage Access That Supports Meaningful Participation\nConferences bring together expertise\, experience and ideas.
